For a surgical or impacted tooth, a small, precise opening is made to remove it cleanly. Throughout, our team keeps you informed and comfortable, and we discuss sedation or anxiety-management options in advance if you're nervous.

Once the tooth is out, we place gauze, confirm the bleeding has settled, and give you clear written aftercare instructions before you leave.

Aftercare & Healing Tips

Good aftercare speeds healing and prevents complications like dry socket. In the first 24–48 hours:

• Bite gently on gauze and rest; avoid strenuous activity.
• Use cold compresses to reduce swelling.
• Eat soft, cool foods and stay hydrated.
• Avoid smoking, straws, and vigorous rinsing, which can dislodge the healing clot.
• Take any prescribed or recommended pain relief as directed.
• Resume gentle brushing, keeping the socket area clean.
